Terms of use Matomo & Google Analytics
Analysis tools and advertising
This website uses the open-source web analysis service Matomo.
Through Matomo, we are able to collect and analyze data on the use of our website by website visitors. This enables us to find out, for instance, when which page views occurred and from which region they came. In addition, we collect various log files (e.g. IP address, referrer, browser and operating system used) and can measure whether our website visitors perform certain actions (e.g. clicks, purchases, etc.).
The use of this analysis tool is based on Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f) GDPR. The website operator has a legitimate interest in the analysis of user behavior in order to optimize both its website and its advertising. If a corresponding consent has been requested, the processing takes place exclusively on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a) GDPR and section 25 para. 1 TTDSG (German Telecommunications-Telemedia Data Protection Act), insofar as the consent includes the storage of cookies or access to information in the user’s terminal device (e.g. device fingerprinting) within the meaning of the TTDSG. Consent can be revoked at any time.
IP anonymization
For analysis with Matomo we use IP anonymization. Your IP address is shortened before the analysis so that it is no longer clearly assignable to you.
Cookieless analysis
We have configured Matomo so that it does not store any cookies in your browser.
Hosting
We host Matomo exclusively on our own servers so that all analysis data remains with us and is not passed on.
Google Analytics 4
If you have given your consent, Google Analytics 4, a web analysis service of Google LLC, is used on this website. The controller for users in the EU/EEA and Switzerland is Google Ireland Limited, Google Building Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland ("Google").
Nature and purpose of processing
Google Analytics uses cookies that enable your use of our website to be analyzed. The information collected by the cookies about your use of this website is usually transmitted to a Google server in the USA and stored there.
We use Google signals. This allows Google Analytics to collect additional information about users who have activated personalized ads (interests and demographic data) and ads can be delivered to these users in cross-device remarketing campaigns.
In Google Analytics 4, the anonymization of IP addresses is activated by default. Due to IP anonymization, your IP address will be shortened by Google within member states of the European Union or in other contracting states of the Agreement on the European Economic Area. Only in exceptional cases will the full IP address be transmitted to a Google server in the USA and truncated there. According to Google, the IP address tr
ansmitted by your browser as part of Google Analytics will not be merged with other Google data.
During your website visit, your user behavior is recorded in the form of "events". Events can be:

Your "click path", interaction with the website
Scrolls (whenever a user scrolls to the end of the page (90%))

You can withdraw your consent at any time with effect for the future by accessing the cookie settings [CLICK HERE TO SET THE CONSENT TOOL SETTINGS] and changing your selection there. This does not affect the lawfulness of the processing carried out on the basis of the consent until revocation.
