bRobots® 6.2.1: More Support for Everyday Master Data Maintenance

Improved search, clearer help texts and easier process tracking

bRobots® combines business rules, workflows and automation for SAP master data. Patch 6.2.1 improves several aspects of working with the solution – from finding rules and uploading Excel files to tracking processes.

In the BRO Rule Editor, new explanations help users choose the appropriate search option. Previous search results can be displayed again, and search speed has been slightly improved. Links in the templates also provide easier access to rules containing customer-specific extensions.

For users, the patch provides clearer information in the Process & Service Cockpit. The help function now also explains the contents of workspace items such as the task inbox. Processing time terminology is more clearly distinguished: OLA refers to the agreed processing time for an individual step, while SLA refers to the entire request.

Further corrections address the handling of decimal values in Excel uploads and the retention of messages on input screens. Configurable minimum retention periods also keep application logs available for tracking purposes for longer during routine cleanup.

bRobots® 6.2.1 therefore adds practical improvements for users, rule maintainers and system administrators to the existing solution.
