The Initial Situation
On the journey to decarbonization
APM Terminals is using the CHESSCON Simulation product since 2019 in their HQ to support their terminals. On their journey to decarbonization APM Terminals works together with AKQUINET.
The Solution
Forecast the impacts of electrification
Together, APM Terminals and AKQUINET have developed CHESSCON modules for electric equipment as well as charging stations and charging strategies. In this way APM Terminals is able to forecast the impacts of electric equipment on the terminal operation. This will help on their journey to decarbonize their terminals.
